Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 is now available to pre-order and pre-download from the Xbox One store. The file size has also been revealed and it’s really small.
You can pre-order the game on the Xbox One digital store now and you can also pre-download it too. The file size for the game is only 7.8 GB. This is one of the lowest Xbox One game install sizes I’ve ever seen.
This might be because Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 has cel-shaded graphics and features levels instead of a large open-world environment like in Skate 3.
Gamers criticized the the graphics for the game when they were first revealed a couple of months ago. Even though it’s a game for the Xbox One and PS4 consoles, the visuals looked more like a PS2 title at best.
Therefore the developers decided to mask the graphics and repainted them in a cel-shaded filter. Cel-shaded graphics don’t take up a lot of space so this is why the file size of the game will be really small.
If you plan on buying Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5, you don’t need to worry about deleting games to free up space on your hard drive. 7.8GB shouldn’t take too much room.
