August and September are big months for EA Sports and the FIFA series is always a part of that with FIFA 16 being the latest entry in the series. Unlike Madden that had full ratings for rosters, they have been kept a little closer to the vest, until now.
With two and a half until the release of FIFA 16, the series’ official Twitter page revealed the top two players in the ratings, along with a link to the full top 50.
There is little surprise that the top player is co-cover athlete Lionel Messi, who is the most dominant player in the game arguably. At a 94 OVR, Messi will be a force in the game, but another competitor, Cristiano Ronaldo is just behind him with a 93 OVR. Both of these players in fact are one point higher than they were previously in FIFA 15.
While the top 50 list is out and can be seen right here, the new women’s team players are not included it appears, as none of them are found in the top 50. Hopefully they will be a list of those as well before release.
FIFA 16 will be releasing on September 22 in the US for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
