Bandai Namco has shared a new lengthy trailer for Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet, the newest game in the series coming in February to PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The video focuses on showcasing the new and returning cast from previous games and the battle gameplay, which focuses on the use of rifles and other fire arms, and the post-apocalyptic setting. Battles play a very similar way to traditional third person shooters, only that this game mixes them RPG elements like life points or the use of special techniques, as it is usual in the franchise. The main character also has the ability of using a sort of a laser hook to move fast between different platforms.

Fatal Bullet follows the Gun Gale Online arc of the series and it presents a digital world devastated by a resent disaster, to which the main character (completely customizable by the player) arrives followed by the artificial intelligence assistant ArFA-sys. The video also offers a look at the upcoming DLC and pre-order extras in Japan.

Bandai Namco also showed recently the opening video of the game, which clearly marks the contrast of the darker an dirtier settings of this new entry compared to the more colorful previous games in the franchise.

Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet launches for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on February 8 in Japan, while it will be released in North America and Europe on February 23. Watch the new trailer below.
