This week Sony hosted a sneak peek event detailing its plans for E3 2011.  Naughty Dog was on hand to give up the goods on Uncharted 3 Drake’s Deception.  According to a poster on the Naughty Dog forums there have been some tweaks made to the game’s multiplayer.  Sprinting seems like one of the major adjustments to the mode, as well as a new medals system which will allow players to purchase items for a one-time use.  These special power-ups are rumored to introduced in tandem with the “booster” feature which is again “rumored” to be a perks system akin to the Call of Duty franchise.

These are all chalked up to being rumors right now, because apparently the content is under embargo for attendees of the event.  This Monday, the embargo period is scheduled to end where we’ll likely get confirmation on the details as well as any other info that was released at the showing.  The event was said to showcase two of the game’s multiplayer maps which did not happen to leak out of the conference.

Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception is scheduled for a November 1st release in the US.
