Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End released back in May for the PS4 with a good bit of post-launch DLC planned for the game. The big attraction is the single player story DLC that will come at some point next year, but a new trailer has been revealed that is showing an upcoming addition to the game.
Like many games in the genre, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is getting a Survival Mode added to the game through DLC. The new mode is scheduled for release sometime in mid-December, but the first public chance to try it out will come at the PlayStation Experience that is coming up in early December.
In the meantime, Sony has released a new trailer showing off this new game mode, as well as some details about it. This co-op experience will feature up to 50 waves and 10 maps to play on, with plenty of different enemies showing up to try and take you down. After completing any 10 waves, there will also be a boss fight against new Pirate Warlords that will definitely make the experience all the more interesting.
There is more to Survival mode than just defeating enemies, as there are also objectives during these waves, such as defending certain points on the map. There are also different difficulties for Survival, with you able to unlock Crushing difficulty by completing Hard.
Make sure to check out the debut trailer for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Survival mode below and look for it to release sometime in mid-December.
