The Binding of Isaac has been out for a while now and has been the addiction of many fans of roguelikes, but a new game that draws heavy inspiration from it is out this week. The game is called Polygod and it has entered Steam Early Access recently, and if you are one of the more dedicated Binding of Isaac players you’ll be able to download it for free.

Polygod developer Amplify Games co-founder Dominic Obojkovits said that “I really loved The Binding of Isaac and I think Polygod will resonate well with players that also really enjoyed The Binding of Isaac. Because of this, I want to reward the most dedicated players with a copy of Polygod.”

Polygod typically goes for $10 ($9 prior to October 20th), but if you unlock any of the following achievements from either The Binding of Isaac or The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth you will get it for free:

The Binding of Isaac Achievements

  • Hard Game
  • Eternal Satan
  • Eternal Cain
  • Eternal Isaac
  • Eternal ???
  • Eternal Maggy
  • Eternal Eve
  • Eternal Samson
  • Eternal Judas
  • Eternal God
  • Eternal Personalities

The Binding of Isaac Rebirth Achievements

  • Sticky Nickels
  • Keeper now holds… A Penny!
  • Keeper holds Store Key
  • Noose Baby
  • Karma
  • Sale Baby
  • Mega
  • 1001%

Of course, these are some of the most difficult achievements to unlock, so you definitely have your work cut out for you if you’re trying to get a free game. Also, in order to get the free game you need to add the developer’s Steam account, Atomicdomb, and then message them from the account that has unlocked the qualifying achievement. After that, they will get in touch with you and hook you up with the game.
