Supermassive Games has released update patch 1.03 for Until Dawn that fixes several issues that adds some new things.
The thing that might shock people is how large the update patch is. It clocks in at over 10.4GB large. It’s interesting they are releasing an update so late since many people may have already finished the game already.
The notes for the new Until Dawn update patch are:
*Fixes to prevent progression blocker in Episode 9 (including fix for existing save games suffering from the issue)
*Option for inverted Y aiming controls added to Settings menu
*Fixes for unlocking “Ashley Snaps” and “The Exorcism of Emily” trophies
*Various bug fixes
Until Dawn was a surprise hit when it came out back in August. The popularity of the game has motivated Supermassive Games to do more with the franchise.
In recent interviews, the developer has not ruled out the possibility of making some future DLC for the original game. The developer has also started early talks on Until Dawn 2 as well.
Sony is hoping the game is one that new PS4 console owners might pick up in the Holiday season. As aforementioned, the game was popular as it exceeded sales expectations.
