Valve Staying Away From Handheld and Mobile Games

Recommended Videos

Valve is not working on any handheld or mobile games at the moment, according to Chet Faliszek of the company.  Valve has quite a bit on the horizon for gamers with DOTA 2 and Counter Strike Global Offensive, but the developer is focused on desktop and living room play as was iterated in a recent interview.

“It’s just not a space our engine has been looked at or optimized for”, said Faliszek.

Upcoming betas for DOTA 2 and Counter Strike: Global Offensive are looming for Valve fans, but don’t expect to be playing them on the go.
