Valve is not working on any handheld or mobile games at the moment, according to Chet Faliszek of the company. Â Valve has quite a bit on the horizon for gamers with DOTA 2 and Counter Strike Global Offensive, but the developer is focused on desktop and living room play as was iterated in a recent interview.
“It’s just not a space our engine has been looked at or optimized for”, said Faliszek.
Upcoming betas for DOTA 2 and Counter Strike: Global Offensive are looming for Valve fans, but don’t expect to be playing them on the go.
