In the latest issue of GamesTM, a British gaming magazine, Sefton Hill spoke with the outlet about playable vehicles in the upcoming sequel.

Forget the Batmobile, Batboat or Batplane “There aren’t any playable vehicles in the game”. Sefton explained: “what we’ve really focused on is Batman himself. We see him as the ultimate vehicle.”

It’s well known that Rocksteady have given a lot of attention to Batman’s access across the city it seems his athletic capabilities should suffice in getting around Hugo’s prison.

No Batboat. No Batboat, (slams fist on table)  this is a travesty indeed and one that will only result in buying the game regardless.

Update:  Guess what.  Years later, Rockstead did introduce the Batmobile.  Unfortunately, they never did get around to making a Batboat.  However, given how many people disliked the Batmobile gameplay, it’s highly unlikely that we’ll ever see that come to fruition.
