A visual effects artist has denied that Doomsday will be a part of the Batman vs Superman movie.

Sean Ray confirmed on Instagram that all of the visual effects for Batman vs Superman have now been completed. Ray works for Moving Picture Company which is the visual effects studio that worked on the film.

He said the visual effects have all wrapped up and it has been one of the best films he has ever worked on. He notes he’s also a huge Superman fan.

When replying to a fan, this is where things get interesting. Someone asked him if Doomsday is in the movie. Ray replied with: “Hahaha lol unfortunately he’s not in the film, maybe in the man of steel squel or justice league film who knows“.

It is hard to tell if he’s telling the truth or not. It could be that he’s preventing any leaks from getting out as Warner Bros. will kill him if any info gets out too early.

However, if  Doomsday really is not in the movie, it does open the door for another villain appearing. It’s unlikely Lex Luthor is the only bad guy in the film. Maybe Darkseid makes an appearance that will lead into the Justice League movie…
