The first Xbox App update is heading to Windows 10 very soon, and Microsoft is ready with a nice preview video. In the video you can get a look at the changes, updates, and features heading to the Xbox App on Windows 10. These include better streaming, Achievement updates, and more.
The biggest change seems to be the upgrade of the Xbox One Streaming feature. Many have been enjoying the feature, which lets you stream your Xbox One games to a Windows 10 PC over the network. However, a few performance issues have impacted the experience. We’ve already shown you how to improve things, but if you don’t want to edit your Xbox App files then this update is for you.
The update will allow you to stream Xbox One games to your PC at 1080p and 60 FPS. Of course this performance will come at a cost, and if your network isn’t able to handle it then the game will likely have some problems. Be sure to check your network settings and get it performing at its best if you wish to take advantage.
In other areas the update will let you right click on your friends to interact with them, as well as compare Achievements to see who has done the best. To see a full list of the changes in this update click here or watch the video below.
