Getting information out of CD Project RED regarding their final expansion to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, called Blood and Wine, is like pulling teeth. However, the developer recently did an interview with German gaming website GameStar, giving us more information about the highly-anticipated expansion.
The German interview was translated by a user on Reddit, who broke down the interview to give several key points about the expansion. Perhaps the biggest news is that the new expansion will be as big of all of Skellige islands combined, which is pretty massive.
Graphics for the game have also been improved, with the developer considering updating aspects of the main game with the improved versions. They also reiterated that a new Gwent deck will be launching with the expansion.
Of course, we still do not have a price point or a release date for the expansion, though they confirmed that it will launch before E3 in mid-June.
