Wolfenstein: The New Order Sequel Gets Another Tease

A sequel to Wolfenstein: The New Order was rumored to be announced at E3 2016, but when the convention came and went that didn’t end up happening. However, there was an image that Bethesda showed briefly that definitely seemed to tease at a new game in the series, and now more fuel has been added to that rumor.

The voice actor of The New Order’s B.J. Blazkowicz, Brian Bloom, recently did an interview with TwoLeftSticks where he mentioned the DOS file that showed a lineup of old and new games that had been released and one that hadn’t. The one in question that hadn’t was The New Colossus, which is listed right after The New Order’s expansion called The Old Blood.

Bloom said in the interview that “If you look at Bethesda’s E3 2016 lineup there was a title hinted at in a cool way. It sparked a bit of wildfire. That subtle, very simple DOS language, going through the titles. Perhaps we’re working on that as we speak.”

Seeing as the first game was very successful and the developer has gone on record previously saying they would love to do a sequel, it seems like this is more a matter of when rather than if in regards to the sequel being revealed.
