The massive success of Machine Games take on the Wolfenstein franchise, has left fans clamoring for more of the ridiculous rampage. Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, a prequel set before New Order was just released back in May of this year, but now a new statement from one of the actresses of Wolfenstein: The New Order, hints at a possible sequel being in development.

Alicja Bachleda-Curuś, the actress who portrayed Anya in the game, hinted in a new interview on a Polish television station, that a sequel is already in production, although she didn’t mention any other details.

“I’m working on a video game, first part of which I have already made. Now we’re making a second one, which will take two more years. I played this game as a child. I was very happy when I got to the point where I could shoot Hitler.” The interview was translated by Eurogamer Poland.

I loved Wolfenstein: The New Order, and seeing the game being revitalized was like a dream come true for me, and the news of a sequel being made excites me. Its nice to see pure classic shooters making a comeback, especially with Doom on the horizon from Id Software, so I hope this is true.
