WWE 2K16 Officially Announced With Release Date Revealed

Update: WWE 2K16’s release date is October 27th, 2015 and will be out for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360.

WWE 2K16 has been officially announced, although not many details have been revealed about it so far.

The WWE 2K Facebook page officially revealed WWE 2k16’s logo. It pretty much looks exactly the same as WWE 2K15’s logo, only that it has the number 6 instead of a 5. It will have a release date sometime in October 2015. It’s likely all versions of the game will have a simultaneous release. Last year, the PS4 and Xbox One versions of WWE 2K15 came out in November 2015 instead.

Only a few WWE 2K16 details have been revealed. Wrestlers like Sasha Banks, Rosa Mendes and Zack Ryder revealed on their respective Twitter accounts that they were scanned for the game. The official roster reveal usually doesn’t happen until August. It would be sad for Zack Ryder if 2K Games leaves him out again. He was upset when he was not out in WWE 2K15 last year.

Rusev was also scanned for WWE 2K16 during WrestleMania 31 weekend. It’s possible 2K Games scanned a lot more people from the roster that day too. Hopefully they managed to scan Brock Lesnar and The Rock this year.
