The full launch roster for WWE 2K17 has been announced and you will know that no duplicates have been named. Well, they are to be revealed soon.

The WWE 2K developer Twitter page said: “(WWE 2K17 roster) may be complete but stay tuned, we’re gonna show some of the alt versions of our Superstars that weren’t announced.”

This means the game will have different versions of wrestlers that have already been announced. They usually do this every year and this can include Triple H from the Attitude Era or John Cena when he used to be a white rapper and more.

Even without duplicates, the number of wrestlers in the new game is the highest ever for a WWE title. There are 136 wrestlers available in the launch roster and even more might be added later as DLC.

There are only four wrestlers so far that you have to get by other means at launch. Two versions of Goldberg are available if you pre-order the game. Nia Jax, Apollo Crews and Shinsuke Nakamura are available if you buy the NXT Edition or if you download them.

WWE 2K17 launches on October 11th, 2016 for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360. A PC version has yet to be confirmed, but is most likely to be released in 2017.
