Microsoft has slashed the price of the Xbox 360 just in time for the holidays. The $50 price drop should make the console an enticing choice for consumers that are looking for a new game console this fall.
Effective immediately, retailer have begun marking down numerous Xbox 360 bundles, which range from the introductory 4GB Slim Model with Kinect, or the more equipped 250GB option. Right now you can find the deals at GameStop, Kmart, Best Buy, Amazon and other retailers in numerous packages that include downloadable codes for popular games, these include the likes of Forza 4, Fable 3, Halo: Reach and other games from the Xbox 360 exclusive library.
There’s no word on whether or not this is a price drop that will continue after the holidays, but it will definitely make purchasing decisions on the upcoming Wii U and PS3 that much more difficult.
