Three weeks to launch and you’ve likely heard a number of different claims considering which is the more powerful and capable console between the PS4 and the Xbox One. Resident Evil creator and director for the upcoming The Evil Within, Shinji Mikami, thinks that they’re “almost identical”.
In a recent interview Edge Magazine, Mikami went as far as to say that “we only need one console.”
“We only need one console. Why do I have to make two version of a game? And when Xbox One was first announced, it had lower specs than PS4, but now they’re almost identical. So either will do,” the developer said.
Despite all the rumors suggesting that the Xbox One may be considerably underpowered, when compared to the PS4, it looks like from a developer standpoint they are nearly identical.
