Update:  Core Services have been restored for Xbox Live users.

Xbox Live is seeing another bout of downtime in its Core Services on Wednesday as the roll-out of Windows 10 is underway.  Core Services are the only thing currently affected, and that can cause issues with signing into Xbox Live.

Xbox Support has updated social media to say they are aware of the problems.  “We’re aware of some issues signing into Xbox Live,” reads a support tweet from Microsoft.  As usual, they refer Xbox Live users to the Xbox status page for updates on their progress.

Xbox Live has seen a number of outages in the last few days.  It’s unclear if these issues are tied to Windows 10 as the new OS for PC has plenty of new Xbox Live features baked in.  Users of Windows 10 can now stream Xbox One games to their PCs, utilize cross platform party features, among other things.

If this trend continues as Windows 10 hits more computers is anyone’s guess.
