Xbox Live status seems to be limited right now for several users sa they cannot launch certain titles and apps.
If you visit the official Xbox website now, you can see that gaming and apps are limited. People are having trouble launching their digital titles at the moment.
The Xbox website notes: “We’re aware that some of you are having trouble launching certain titles. We’re working to correct this ASAP! Thanks for your patience in the meantime. We’ll update you as soon as we know more.”
The TV, Music and Video portion of Xbox Live has been affected on Xbox One and Xbox 360 console. The main website says: “Are you having issues launching video content purchased from the Xbox Store? Our engineers are on the case! Thanks for your patience while we work! We’ll let you know as soon as something changes.”
Launching disc games on Xbox One seems to be working fine. I was able to play Fallout with no problems. However, my digital copies of WWE 2K16 and Rise of the Tomb Raider aren’t launching. I cannot even launch the YouTube app too.
At least Microsoft is aware of the problem and is working on it. Let’s hope we don’t have to wait that much longer so we can play our digital Xbox One games again.
