Today at Microsoft’s Gamescom Press Conference, Sam Lake of Remedy Entertainment took the stage to finally put a release date on the Quantum Break. The Xbox One exclusive got some brand new gameplay revealed, as well as the live-action story component that’s caused some confusion since the game was first announced.
While the new trailer was one of the most impressive showings that we’ve seen to date from Remedy, the release date of April 5th was even more welcomed.
This confirmation of an early-2016 release date for Quantum Break further bolsters Microsoft’s first party line-up for next year. Alongside Gears of War 4, Recore, and Rare’s new title, Microsoft confirmed that Scalebound, Crackdown 3, and Quantum Break would hit the console next year.
