There were some amazing games at E3 2017, but it’s always tough to compete against brand new hardware. Because of this many came away quite impressed with Microsoft’s showing of the Xbox One X, which promises true 4K gaming for a reasonable price. But whenever a new console comes along the questions immediately turn toward how to secure your own. When will preorders become available, how many will there be, etc. We don’t have the answers yet, but Xbox head Phil Spencer has said that preorders will be coming soon.
Responding to a fan on Twitter who asked when Xbox One X preorders would go live, Spencer said “Our plan is set for this. All approvals are done so now just landing the announce with all the info, won’t be too much longer.”
Great news for Xbox fans hoping to secure their very own Xbox One X at launch. This also helps calm any fears that the launch would be delayed or have some sort of issue. Sure, Spencer had already killed those rumors, but nothing ever truly dies on the internet. If Microsoft has already secured all the necessary agreements for preorder announcements then we’re looking good for release.
Xbox One X arrives November 7th.
