Now that Halloween is over, everyone is immediately moving on to the next thing. If you’re a company that’s purpose is to sell goods, then “the next thing” for you is Black Friday. This year, Nintendo is offering new Zelda-related merchandise for the holiday.
According to Polygon, Nintendo will be releasing a new 2DS package for Black Friday. This 2DS will be “Link-green” with yellow buttons and, like other recent 2DS packages, will include a pre-downloaded game. This 2DS comes with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time HD, the 2011 remastering of the game that originally came out in 1998 for the Nintendo 64 and has since been praised as one of the greatest games of all time. This new 2DS package will cost $79.99.
Nintendo will also be releasing the Explorer’s Edition of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for Black Friday. This set includes a Switch version of the game, a 100-page Explorer’s Guide book and a two-sided map of Hyrule. This Explorer’s Edition will cost $59.99, which is how much you could buy the game for alone right now. Breath of the Wild is expected to receive its second significant DLC package by the end of the year. Black Friday will be on November 24 this year.
