Modern Warfare 3 DLC Arrives on PlayStation 3

The first Modern Warfare 3  Call of Duty: Elite Premium content drops have arrived on the PlayStation 3.  Two new maps are now available for download for premium Call of Duty: Elite members on the console, and can be accessed and downloaded next time subscribers log on.

Two new multiplayer maps await elite subscribers:  Liberation & Piazza, two great additions to the Modern Warfare 3 map rotation.  Once downloaded you’ll be able to access the maps via the “Elite Playlist” within the multiplayer menu of the game, but the new maps also carry over to the Spec Ops survival mode of the game as well.

It’s worth noting that like previous DLC for the Call of Duty franchise, the game’s modes aren’t all the same in the new playlist.  Hardcore modes are bundled together for a “mosh pit” style lobby, while others like Lone Wolf are completely absent.
