Quantic Dream likely readying PS4 title “Singularity”

A new domain registration may indicate a PS4 title in the works from Quantic Dream, that goes by the name of Singularity. The domain was registered all the way back in November according to Kotaku, and the name suggests that it may be linked to the Kara tech demo that was shown in 2012.

The domain in question is SingularityPS4.com, which would align with other registrations that Quantic Dream has done in the past. BeyondPS3.com and HeavyRainPS3.com were both registered for those specific titles by the developer.

You might be thinking “Wasn’t there just a game released called Singularity?”, and yes, there was. Activision currently holds a trademark for Singularity, which was registered when they launched the first person shooter from Raven Software.

While Singularity might not be the final name for this next-gen title from Quantic Dream, it looks like the developer is actively working on something big for the PS4, once Beyond: Two Souls has been released.
