A woman says a former MLB pitcher flew her first class to away games for eight months, then her aunt revealed he was engaged

Baseball players spend half the season on the road, and one woman says that schedule hid a secret for most of a year. Adult film performer Silvia Saige claimed on a recent podcast that former Kansas City Royals pitcher Bruce Chen flew her first class to his away games. She said the arrangement lasted about eight months before she learned he was engaged, as reported by BroBible.

Saige, who said she worked as a promotional model in Kansas City before entering the adult industry, told host Holly Randall that the story began with a different Royals player. She claimed she met then Royals first baseman Eric Hosmer at a promotional event and went back to his apartment. According to Saige, she refused to sleep with him, and he asked her to leave.

Saige said Hosmer then told teammates in the locker room that he had kicked her out. She claimed Hosmer also passed her phone number to Chen, who reached out and told her he wanted to show her “how a woman should be treated.” The two began seeing each other, and Saige said the relationship lasted several months, long enough for Chen to meet her family.

Saige says Chen only invited her to away games and never home games

According to Saige, Chen flew her to his road games in first class. In the clip, she described the trips as “service, service, service,” while the account that posted the clip, Fame Spills, said the perks also included luxury hotel stays, massages and shopping money. Saige said she never attended a home game, though she did not think much of it at the time.

About eight months in, Saige said her aunt called with news that her uncle had seen reports that Chen was engaged. She said she called Chen, who confirmed he was getting married but told her he still wanted to keep seeing her. When she asked why he never mentioned another woman, she claimed he replied, “Why do you think you go to the away games and not the home games?”

Saige said she ended the relationship after that call. However, she admitted on the podcast that she has mixed feelings about it now. Looking back, she said she wishes she had let him pay her bills for a while instead of cutting things off. No response from Chen or Hosmer was included in the report on her interview.

Chen pitched for 11 teams over 17 seasons in the majors, and his longest stretch came with the Royals. Hosmer was a cornerstone of the Royals teams that reached two World Series, winning the title in 2015. Saige did not give exact dates for the events she described, beyond saying they happened in her late 20s.

Reactions on X ranged from amused to cynical. One user replied that Chen “has that dawg in him,” while another argued that what Saige described is common in professional baseball and happens every day. However, other users pushed back on her framing, saying the arrangement she described never sounded like a real relationship in the first place.

Saige is far from the only woman to say she found out late that she was not the only one. A TikTok creator said she learned she was mistress number six after nearly four years with a married man. Like Saige, she said the truth came from someone other than the man himself.

Saige’s claims could draw a response from Chen or Hosmer as the clip continues to spread across social media and sports pages.

Attack of the Fanboy was unable to independently verify Bruce Chen and Eric Hosmer’s side of the story, as this account originates solely from Silvia Saige’s podcast interview.
