NFL star Tyreek Hill allegedly attacked a woman over a humiliating drill, but her actions in the hours following the injury are now being questioned

The legal battle involving NFL wide receiver Tyreek Hill took a turn as his attorney Robert Horwitz challenged the timeline and actions of Sophie Hall during proceedings at the Fort Lauderdale courthouse. Horwitz presented a defense that focuses heavily on Hall’s behavior in the weeks following the alleged incident, noting that she did not seek medical treatment for 30 days.

According to the defense, Hall instead engaged in activities that seem inconsistent with her claims of injury. “She had sex with Mr. Hill twice,” Horwitz told the court as seen by cameras. “She then goes ATV riding, fishing.” This lawsuit centers on a physical encounter between Hill and Hall that took place during a drill at Hill’s home.

According to Daily Mail, the plaintiff, Sophie Hall, is seeking $50,000 in damages. During her testimony, Hall attempted to frame the situation by highlighting her background as a single mother who worked various jobs, such as cleaning houses, braiding hair, and selling hair bows, before she began working as an OnlyFans model. She told the jury, “I ended up being a single mom and I did everything… what I could to make money to provide for (my children).”

Tyreek Hill’s fetish for tall women is now part of public record

Courtroom accounts of how the physical contact actually occurred remain starkly different. Jonathan Gdanski, representing Hall, argued that the incident was an aggressive display of force. He explained that Hall, who stands 6ft 1in, moved Hill back during a drill. Gdanski stated, “What happened was Sophie Hall, this woman, moved him back. They giggled, they laughed.”

According to this narrative, the 5ft 8in Hill felt humiliated by the interaction and responded by switching positions and shoving Hall to the ground. Gdanski told the jury that the physical impact caused Hall to experience “excruciating pain.” The defense has countered these claims by suggesting that any injury Hall sustained occurred under different circumstances. Horwitz argued that Hall actually hurt herself by tripping over Hill’s dog.

The defense emphasized that Hall’s participation in the drill was voluntary and that she was aware there would be physical contact. This legal dispute is just one of several off-field issues surrounding Hill. In previous legal filings and depositions, Hill admitted that he invited Hall to his home to satisfy a specific fetish for taller women. He has explicitly denied being particularly attracted to Hall, who markets content on her subscriber-only page related to tall girl themes, giantess videos, and other niche categories.

Hill has faced significant legal and personal scrutiny throughout his career. While he is currently in the spotlight, he is not the only star facing such issues; another major NFL player has also faced allegations and legal scrutiny involving off-field incidents. In March, he secured a victory in court when a Florida judge denied a motion from Hall’s legal team to force him to undergo a psychological examination regarding his history with women.

This history includes a 2014 guilty plea for domestic assault and battery by strangulation involving the mother of three of his children. Additionally, his estranged wife, Keeta Vaccaro, alleged in 2025 divorce documents that the athlete punched her, ripped out her hair, and spit in her face. Hill has categorically denied these allegations made by Vaccaro. Professionally, Hill’s status remains in flux following a difficult end to his tenure with the Miami Dolphins.

He was released by the team in February after undergoing surgery to repair multiple knee ligaments. While he has not yet been medically cleared to return to the field, he is currently a free agent. Industry insiders, including Nate Taylor, have suggested there is a better than 50 percent chance that Hill could return to the Kansas City Chiefs this season. This would mark a reunion for the player, who previously won a Super Bowl alongside Patrick Mahomes before his trade to Miami.

Hill has established himself as one of the most productive wide receivers in the league since being drafted. Known as the “Cheetah” for his speed, he earned Pro Bowl selections in each of his first eight seasons and was named to the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team. Across his career in the NFL, Hill has earned approximately $143.7 million in salary, including the multi-year extension he signed with the Dolphins.

As the civil trial regarding the $50,000 lawsuit continues, the court is expected to resume proceedings on Friday morning to further examine these conflicting accounts of the incident.
