Dark Souls 3 was recently streamed in a locked event hosted by developer From Software, but a sneaky fan was able to grab some of the footage and put it up on YouTube for everyone to check out.
Thanks to YouTuber Mizzi we have nearly 7 minutes of new gameplay for Dark Souls 3, which shows off the Thief class in action. The stream lasted for around 2 hours, so the footage we have to check out is only a small fraction of what was actually shown.
As is typically the case, the footage is in Japanese. However, the gameplay itself is easy enough to figure out what is going on and the differences present compared to previous games in the series. Still, if you need more you can check out the video’s comment section and this Reddit thread for translations done by fans.
Dark Souls 3 is set to launch on April 12 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. A comic series that dives into the lore of the game is also set to be launching alongside the game at the beginning of April.
