Epic’s Fortnite Sure is Different

Epic's new game revealed, its not at all what you expected.

Epic Games recently made headlines when they announced that their new IP would be a radical departure from the Gears of War franchise. Last night at the Spike Video Game Awards, they made good on that claim when they revealed Fortnite. As you can see from the trailer above, Fortnite has a cartoon style, with characters looking to salvage and build to defend themselves against a night assault from hordes of baddies.

The Fortnite debut trailer didn’t show off any gameplay, so we’ll have to wait for more details out of Epic concerning the genre that Fortnite will fall into.
