Today marks the release of the second of three Assassin’s Creed Chronicles games, with Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India now available to download. To mark the occasion, a launch trailer for the game has been released that is very stylistic and flashy.
Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India takes place in 1841 India and has the player controlling a character named Arbaaz Mir. Mir is on a mission to learn the reasons why a Master Templar has arrived in his land with a mysterious item that was stolen from the Assassin Order, steal it back and protect his loved ones from potential harm.
The game is once again a departure from the main games in the Assassin’s Creed series, as the game ditches open-world exploration for 2.5D side scrolling platforming. However, the stealth and obstacle climbing mechanics still play an important role for this spin-off series.
Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India is available to download now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China is already available and Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia will release next month on February 9 along with a trilogy pack of the 3 games. PlayStation Vita versions of the games will release in the form of a trilogy pack on April 5.
