Mighty No. 9 Shows Off Gameplay Footage

by William Schwartz

Mighty No. 9 isn’t set to release until April of next year but after attending PAX Prime this past weekend Comcept released gameplay footage of the anticipated title.

Comcept has released over two minutes of footage of the upcoming Mighty No. 9 and it looks pretty darn cool. The action-platformer shows off Kenji’s roots as the creator of Mega Man but breathes new life into it. The levels look fast paced and diverse. The combo system in place also looks to be unique and add a cool dynamic to the gameplay. Beck looks to be a capable hero in the trailer showing off his agility and power against enemies. The art is also simply eye popping gorgeous. Check out the gameplay below and see if Kenji and co. hit a home run with Mighty No. 9.

Also announced at PAX this past weekend was that Kickstarter backers will begin receiving their Beta’s for Mighty No. 9 which will include one level with more content coming in a few weeks.

Might No. 9 is set to release on Playstation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PC, Nintendo 3DS, Playstation Vita and Wii U in April 2015.
