Today an avalanche of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 info hit the web, courtesy of Kotaku.  However, not all of it seems to be true.  Well at least that’s what a representative from Infinity Ward is saying.  Robert Bowling, the community manager for IW announced on Twitter, that it’s “a lot of hype” and that as far as the new information “some still accurate, some not”.  But most importantly, the real reveal is on its way.

Of all the requests to Activision to confirm or deny the content posted earlier today, there has been no response from the publisher.  Bowling’s comments appear to be the first official response to the mother of all leaks  for 2011.
