Warframe has built in popularity since it released on Playstation 4 but at Gamescom, Digital Extremes announced that the fun is coming to Xbox One.
During Gamescom the team at Digital Extremes held one of their Tenno video casts live from Gamescom which also served as a panel for the event. They went on to give away prizes and such to audience members and show off some content within the game but one of the big announcements from the event was that the title is going to be making its way to Xbox One. Check out the video below for the full panel and at around seven-minutes (7:46 actually) they go ahead and reveal that the game is coming to Xbox One.
Warframe is set to launch into the galaxy on Xbox One as a free-to-play title with a few micro transactions that fans seem comfortable with. The Xbox One release is set for September 2nd. Â This opens up the playing field for Xbox One for MMO-type games that seem to have been lacking on the platform. If it proves popular on the platform it may set a trend for others.
