The first beta for the Hitman reboot starts later this week on PlayStation 4 and next week on PC, and now Square Enix has released a launch trailer for the beta. Unfortunately, those getting the game on Xbox One will not be getting a beta at all.
The betas for both PlayStation 4 and PC will be available to those who have pre-ordered the game that launches next month, which includes the first mission of the game that is set in the ICA training Facility.
The beta for the PlayStation 4 version of Hitman kicks off on February 12, whereas the beta for the PC version of Hitman kicks off on February 19. It’s currently unknown if progress from the beta will carry over into the final version of the game, though more information from Square Enix is expected soon.
Hitman will officially launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on March 11, though only the first part of the game will be available. The game was recently revealed to have switched to a fully-episodic release method, with subsequent levels being released each month. The PlayStation 4 version of the game will also be getting content that is not available in the other versions of the game.
