The Darkness II demo hits Xbox Live next week

The Darkness II demo will hit the Xbox Live marketplace on January 17th.  Xbox Live Gold members will get first crack at the game for a week of exclusive play.  The next week, Steam users, PSN members, and standard Xbox Live users will get access.

2K didn’t say what will be included in the demo, or how long of a gameplay taste to expect, so you’ll need to wait until you download it to see.

2k did recently outline a completely new cooperative mode coming for the game.  The unique twist on multiplayer gameplay has you controlling one of four different characters in their own side story to compliment the game.  The Darkness II is set to release early next month of the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
