If you want to play as the Dragon Ball Super version of Future Trunks in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, you will have to earn him. Unless of course you bought the Deluxe Edition…
For those of you that bought the Deluxe Edition and/or Season Pass of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, you don’t have to worry because you have early access to the Dragon Ball Super version of Future Trunks. This guide is just for those that have the standard version.
In order to unlock Future Trunks in the game, you simply just have to complete the regular story missions of the game. After you have done all that, you should have him as a playable character. If you want to play as him, just go start completing the story and you should be all good.
Future Trunks is of course one of the hottest characters in Dragon Ball right now. If you watch Dragon Ball Super, you’ll know he’s busy battling Zamasu and Black Goku. He needs help with Goku and Vegeta though, but he put up a good fight with his new Super Saiyan form.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is out now in North America and isn’t available until October 28th in Europe. You can get the game on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
