Battlefield 3 patch goes live on Origin

The massive Battlefield 3 patch that PS3 players recently recieved is now available on Origin.  After a short downtime on the Battlelog, as of this posting, you should be able to access the patch on Origin.  To do so, right click on Battlefield 3 in the Origin client and hit check for updates.

The patch contains a laundry list of weapons tweaks and balancing features that fans have been calling for over the past few months.  For the complete patch details, and some interesting commentary regarding the implementation of pay-for-perks and rent-a-server features, visit the Official Battlefield Blog.

No word on the ETA for the Battlefield 3 patch on Xbox 360.
