Gears of War 3 Celebrates Halloween in Style

Epic Games has delivered on their earlier promises of a special holiday themed multiplayer event for Gears of War 3.  This morning the developer turned every characters head in the game into a pumpkin to celebrate Halloween.  The "pumpkinhead mutator" will run all day Halloween until 9 a.m. EST on Tuesday November 1st.

This isn't Epics first foray into mutators.  The developer ran a big head mode recently that modified the character's heads just a short while ago, and had previously celebrated Easter with Bunny Ears for your your characters.  The screenshot below was offered up by Cliff Bleszinski and shows off Anya's pumpkinhead version.

Don't blink or you'll miss the Halloween Celebration as it ends tomorrow morning.
