Nioh is set to be launching a few months after Sony’s PS4 Pro hits the market, and they have claimed that all PS4 games that launch after the console’s release will have PS4 Pro support. However, considering the strange and long-delayed development cycle for Nioh, whether or not it would have the support was a mystery.
However, it looks like the game will indeed have PS4 Pro support after all. This was revealed by invitations that were going out for an upcoming PS4 Pro event, as one of the games that will be featured at the event is Nioh. Unfortunately, we don’t have specific details on what kind of enhancements we can expect from the Pro support, though at the very least we can expect an increased resolution.
We recently got some new details on Team Ninja’s upcoming game, which revealed that the game will be a lengthy one. The game will apparently take the average player around 70 hours to complete, putting it right in line with the Souls series that it draws heavy inspiration from. You can learn more about that by clicking right here.
Nioh is set to launch exclusively for PlayStation 4 on February 9th, 2017.
