We are bringing back three popular combat vehicles from Battlefield 2 into the Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand expansion pack: The STOVL fighter jet, desert buggy, and one of the APC's. In this gameplay trailer from the Gulf of Oman map, you can also get a first glimpse of a classified fourth vehicle bound to strike fear into the very hearts of the enemy.

Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand is out December 2011 at no extra charge if you own a copy of the Battlefield 3: Limited Edition, or available the same date at $14.99/1200 Microsoft Points.

All i need now.is a ghille suit and a big sniper rifle that fires a 50 cal rounds.and bf3 for me is.perfection. Ppl in hmv’s and scout heli’s are soft targets. Wouldnt.mind.poppin the.pilot or driver in.the head and watxhin.everyone inside panic .Snipers stick out like a sore thumb with balaclavas and tshirts.

Its very disappointing DICE is degrading navy roles in battlefield 3. Sure their new vehicles but nothing new to navy craft? All we get is a boat with a .50 cal. Thats it? Come on DICE, future expansion packs better show an increase support of navy roles in combat, not transportation..

I got if on ps3 and xbox. Plays better on xbox but has more texture pop ins and some weird frame rate drops in the first few seconds of TDM.

I’m new to battlefield since bc2 so never played these maps. I see this one and karkland have 7 flags. Were the originals the same? And does anyone know how many they’ll have on consoles?

So when’s the release date for the pack again? Oh yeah free game and a week early on PS3. Those Sony fanboys get everything. Why do I keep paying and paying for a service that really just gives me nothing.
My cousin has a PS3 and now I regret jumping on the xbox band waggon. Sure I have more friends on Xbox but if they were all smart they would have gotten PS3 to begin with.
Pretty sad that this generation started like it did.
