Nuketown 2025 has been removed from Black Ops II playlists, which includes the Nuketown 24/7 mode. According to Treyarch’s David Vonderhaar, the developer is looking to integrate the map into other playlists in the future, possibly for “special events”.

Nuketown 2025 was a bonus map for Call of Duty players who plunked down their cash early, and they’ve gotten to play on the map for a little less than a week. As you can imagine, Call of Duty players aren’t pleased with this.

Attempting to answer the complaints, Vonderhaar took to Twitter to explain that the map is still available in Custom Game Modes.

We’ll have to wait and see how Treyarch plans to integrate Nuketown 2025 into the normal playlist, for special events, or at all.
