Former Israeli Prime Minister blasts Tucker Carlson, revealing the bizarre truth about his ‘Israel trip’

Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett just dropped a bombshell, calling conservative media personality Tucker Carlson “chickens—” over some wild claims Carlson made about his recent trip to Israel, as reported by The Hill. This really pulls back the curtain on what actually went down at the airport.

Bennett took to X to say that Carlson, whom he accused of “spouting lies about Israel for the past two years,” landed at Ben Gurion airport, snapped a quick photo in the logistics zone, and then tweeted it out. Bennett believes this was all a pretense, designed to make it seem like Carlson was actually “IN Israel” so he could later “claim that he’s a serious reporter who toured Israel.” Bennett emphasized that Carlson “didn’t even step foot in country” before making up a story about being harassed by Israeli security.

According to Bennett, Carlson’s claims of harassment simply “didn’t happen.” He explained that Carlson “whined about it, got back into the private jet and flew off.” Bennett wrapped up his post with a blunt warning, saying, “Next time he talks about Israel as if he’s some expert, just remember this guy is a phony!”

Carlson, however, offered a dramatically different account

Carlson claimed that after an interview with Mike Huckabee, the U.S. ambassador to Israel, he and members of his team were apprehended in the country. He specifically said, “Men who identified themselves as airport security took our passports, hauled our executive producer into a side room and then demanded to know what we spoke to Ambassador Huckabee about.” This sounds like a pretty intense experience, if true.

However, Ambassador Huckabee quickly weighed in on X, directly contradicting Carlson’s implication of unusual treatment. He clarified that “EVERYONE who comes in/out of Israel (every country for that matter) has passports checked & routinely asked security questions.” Huckabee even added that this applies to him, stating, “Even ME going in/out with Diplomatic Passport & Diplomatic Visa.”

To further complicate Carlson’s narrative, the Israel Airports Authority issued an official statement on X. Their message reads: “Tucker Carlson and his entourage were not detained, delayed, or interrogated.” This official denial directly refutes Carlson’s claims, aligning instead with Bennett’s and Huckabee’s accounts of standard, uneventful travel.

It’s a bizarre situation where one person’s dramatic claims are being directly challenged by a former Prime Minister, a U.S. Ambassador, and an official government authority. Bennett’s “chickens—” comment and his assertion that Carlson is a “phony” certainly seem to be backed up by the other statements.
