Sony will begin it’s PlayStation Now content streaming program later this year to the general public, but a closed beta will be taking place until then. The service allows PlayStation content to be rented and streamed to a variety of devices, including TVs, the PS Vita, and the PS4.
Here’s how to register for the PlayStation Now beta. http://us.playstation.com/playstationnow/
So just fill out your pertinent information, cross your fingers, and hope that Sony selects you to participate in their program. At the very least, your email address will be used to keep you up to date with the latest news about the PlayStation Now program.
Hopefully those updates will include some kind of update concerning how my PlayStation Plus subscription gives me some sort of access to this content. Signing up for a second subscription fee sounds like it might be too much for many people to handle, after just plunking down cash for nearly mandatory service in the PlayStation Plus.
