Xbox Live is suffering from serious outages across the Xbox One and Xbox 360 platforms worldwide.
After a crippling string of issues on Titanfall’s launch, Xbox Live is suffering from major problems tonight, with the official website issuing a service alert. Â Social and Gaming functionality are currently listed as ‘Limited’.
In particular, Microsoft are directly addressing Forza 5 and Titanfall players, with the two games being put up ahead of other games being dealt with. Â A few short hours into the issues, the Service Alert info was updated with a revised message – “Were you having issues with connectivity in Titanfall or Forza 5? We are happy to say that our team has mitigated the issue and both games are ready and waiting for action! Thank you so much for being patient while we worked this out.”
“Thank you so much for being patient while we worked this out.”
This means that the following issues are directly affecting the system:
- Accessing all game features
- Accessing or retrieving data stored using cloud storage
- Capturing game videos
- Joining other Xbox Live members in online games
- Posting game performance or viewing the performance of other Xbox Live members
- Purchasing content bundles
Whilst online gaming is down for most games, the websites and streaming services offered by Microsoft are currently unaffected.
