Tekken 7 Location Test Announced

During the Namco Sugamo Cup stream held by Katsuhiro Harada, there will be a location test held for Tekken 7 this October in Japan.

Avoiding The Puddle reported on all the juicy facts about the stream. The Tekken 7 location tests will be held in Japan arcades next month.

To be more specific, the Namco Sugamo arcade in Tokyo and the Namco Nipponbashi arcade in Osaka will have Tekken 7 arcades for gamers to test out. The arcades will be there on the 3rd, 4th and 5th of October.

Gamers will be able to play Tekken 7 in a “free play” mode that will help Namco get feedback for the new game. If you go to the event, you will also receive “special designer banapass cards” with renders of Kazuya and Heihachi on them.

Tekken 7 was announced just two months ago much to the delight of many fighting game fans around the world. This October, Japanese gamers will get a chance to finally see how the game will look and play. The game is using Unreal Engine 4 which promises to make the visuals look awesome.

No other information about the arcade tests were revealed. It’s likely only Kazuya and Heihachi will be the playable characters during the tests as they’re the only characters that have been announced for Tekken 7.
