Some raw new footage has now been taken for the Dragon Ball Xenoverse at TGS 2014.

Anime Games Network has complied some cool gameplay footage of Dragon Ball Xenoverse fresh from the TGS 2014 show floor. It’s worth noting all footage from the game is for the PS4 version. This is the first time a Dragon Ball Z game will be on the PS4. The game will also be released on the Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360 sometime in 2015.

The first few minutes of the Dragon Ball Xenoverse video takes a look at a fight between Goku and Vegeta. It looks like aerial style of combat will be common in this game as both Goku and Vegeta spend a lot of time off the ground. Fans will be happy to know the overall gameplay still look pretty fast and frantic.

Another fight featured in the Dragon Ball Xenoverse video is Gohan vs. Piccolo. The last fight featured is Krillin vs. Nappa. The game looks more polished compared to the release of Battle of Z earlier this year. The PS4 and Xbox One versions also promise to make the 2D cel-shaded graphics appear better than ever before.

Bandai Namco still hasn’t pinned down an official exact release date for the game. It’s possible an early 2015 release for the game is likely.
