Bethesda has now released information on all of the technical details you need to know about The Evil Within. This includes the mandatory console installations as well as the PC system requirements.
If you are going to buy The Evil Within for PS4 and Xbox One, you will require to have at least around 40GB of space to install the game. If you are buying the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, this is lower with only a 7GB mandatory installation. It’s also worth noting the Xbox 360 version requires the install to be saved on a “HDD or a USB 2.0 or higher flash drive”.
If you intend to get The Evil Within for PC, the system requirements have now been revealed. Only the recommended specs were given so it’s unknown at this time of the minimum requirements. Bethesda noted they cannot “guarantee optimal performance” if your system runs below the requirements revealed below.
Recommended PC system specifications:
-64-bit Windows 7/Windows 8
-i7 with four-plus cores
-4 GB RAM
-50 GB of hard drive space (50 GB needed for install, but game will actually only take up around 41 GB of hard drive space, Bethesda says)
