Several Russian publications have reported that the PC version of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will be released on Steam this December.

A big gaming event called Igromir 2014 is being held in Russia and apparently Hideo Kojima himself announced that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes PC will be released on Steam on December 18th. Konami was at the event to show more footage from The Phantom Pain so this might be accurate news.

Russian publications at Igromir 2014 like GameMag and Shazoo have both reported on the same December 18th release date for Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes on Steam. The fact that more than one outlet has reported on this kind of suggests this sounds legit, although Konami have yet to officially make an announcement worldwide on the topic.

The official Steam listing for Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes still shows that the game is “coming soon”. Hopefully Konami releases the PC version soon since The Phantom Pain is scheduled to come out sometime in 2015.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes was already released on PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360 earlier this year. The game was criticized as being a glorified demo, but the actual gameplay was praised.
