Mortal Kombat X just had the reveal of a returning fighter last week with the villainous Quan Chi, but Ed Boon is already teasing even more. Through a cryptic tweet, Ed Boon hinted at other unannounced fighters for the game, with only their feet shown, including the reveal that one of them was in fact the recently announced Quan Chi.
Boon had the following to say in his tweet:
- “Look’s like one of the boots that were made for walkin’ was Quan Chi’s.
#MKX“
Just based on the boots, it is almost impossible to decipher just who any of these fighters may be. This is made even more difficult by all by Quan Chi’s being greyed out, so you can’t even tell their skin type. It appears that at least one may be female, but other than that there isn’t much to them.
The other question is whether or not these fighters are all returning characters or ones that are brand new to the series, especially considering Boon has said we will see plenty of new fighters in Mortal Kombat X.
