Super Smash Bros. for 3DS has its much anticipated release last Friday to much excitement, but most are still waiting for the full console version on Wii U. Up until now we haven’t had a release date for the game in any regions, but not only has the release date been revealed by Nintendo, but they also announced that the US will be getting the game before any other region this time.
As rumored, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will hit the US on November 21, the same day as Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. It will then follow with a release in Europe on December 5 and Japan on December 6.
This is a pretty big deal, as Japan got the 3DS version three weeks or so before the release of the US version, which led to everything being spoiled for the US gamers way beforehand. Now, we will get it first and know the stages and if they somehow hid in any secret characters exclusive to the Wii U version first.
This news also quells that concerns some had that it would be delayed to 2015, due to still not having a set release date. This now means that we are almost exactly a month and a half away from the release of the game on Wii U, so we are already in the final stretch!
